RALLY TO REBUILD GALVESTON

Our plans to help Galveston rebuild;

Jean Lafitte helped found Galveston and now he and his band of two wheeled pirates are coming back to rebuild!
LSR will produce a :30 second television commercial to air as a public service announcement on all Texas television stations. This commercial will let people to know that Galveston is alive and well! The Lone Star Rally will be her Grand re-opening!

LSR will re-print 100,000 ad cards and distribute across Texas reflecting the same message!

We will purchase a large ad in the Houston Chronicle with he same message! We will convert our huge radio advertising campaign in Houston to help raise funds at the Rally!

We will send out weekly newsletters to our database reflecting the same message!

We will contact all major motorcycle companies and encourage them to do the same!

The American Motorcycle Association will send out an E-mail blast to their huge database!

We are currently attempting to bring more major entertainers onto our stages fro benefit concerts!

We will set up and manage over 20 donation stations around our venues so you can help too!

We are developing a special Rally to Rebuild logo that can be added to the Official T-Shirt for a donation to the Rally to Rebuild Fund!

We will donate a portion of our sales to the fund!

If given enough space on the Seawall, LSR will provide free space to Galveston merchants who have product to sell but no place to sell it in! (Merchants still have to get insurance and pay for electricity)

Because we expect many stores to still be closed downtown, we will add a minimum of 100 extra portable toilets to the downtown area and also increase the number on the Seawall!

The Treasure Hunt is still on!

Our offices were destroyed in the storm and we are just getting back on-line. Please trust the information posted on our web site and don't E-mail or call unless absolutely necessary.

LSR has partnered with the US Marine Corps and Toys for Tots and will have a donation station set up at the rally for toy drop-off.

Lone Star Rally has formed “Bikers for the Coast”! The Red Cross has informed us that the following items are needed most:

- Non-perishable food items

- School supplies

- Toiletries, bath items

- Clothing

We are asking all area motorcycle dealerships to serve as donation locations and collect these items as they are brought in by you! The collected items will then be brought by truck to LSR and given to the Red Cross for distribution. You can start here today!
