“Come to the Haunted Island…..Win Jean Lafitte’s Treasure!”

Pick up your free clues to where my treasure is buried in advance at Lone Star Rally Pre-View parties and then during the Rally at participating vendors. When you think you know where my treasure is buried, bring your guess to the Lone Star Rally Contest Booth in the lobby of the Galveston Convention Center during the Rally. Swipe your driver’s license, enter your cell number and email address and enter your guess. We’ll pull ten correct entries on Saturday. Those people will meet on stage at 8pm on Saturday night and each will be given a key. Whoever’s key opens our Treasure Chest wins!

Rules of Contest-

• Time Period- Sept 1- Dec. 13, 2008
• Lone Star Rally Pre-View Parties will be advertised on our web-site and by the retailer holding the party. No other notification will be given.
• Contests must enter complete information. Entries without complete the provision of completed entry form will be disqualified.
• Only one entry per person allowed.
• Must be 21 years old or older to enter.
• Must be a licensed driver.
• Participating retailers will be identified by a sign on their display booth, ads on the Jumbotron and listed in the Official Lone Star Rally program.
• Total Prize value is subject to the amount of the total collected items received by Sept. 1, 2008
• Must be present to win.
• Patrons may only receive one clue per retail location.
• Entries will be accepted until 2pm on Saturday, Dec. 13., 2008
• Ten correct entries will be pulled at random from the correct entries at 3pm on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008.
• All finalists’ names will be announced from the Convention Center stage at 8pm on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008.
• Each finalist will choose a key from ten keys provided.
• One key will open the chest. Each contestant will try their key until a winner is found. The key that opens the lock wins.
