What’s going on in the Convention Center you ask?

The Lone Star Rally and AMA Road Riding host the Lady Rider’s Conference! This is the first ever in the State of Texas, Located inside the Convention Center at 56th and Seawall blvd. It is designed with the woman rider in mind. The event is sponsored and hosted by Genevieve Schmitt owner of Women Rider’s Now and the first woman ever inducted into the Sturgis Hall of Fame. Genevieve, along with six other panelists, all highly recognized and  influential women in the motorcycling industry, will present their combined experiences and knowledge for female riders to network, learn from each other and promote the sport of motorcycling. Ladies! Register for the Lady’s Only Treasure Hunt Ride to Benefit Breast Cancer Research being held on Saturday, November 3rd  at 10am..

 The Republic Harley-Davidson Rider Apparel and Swimwear Fashion Show plus the Lone Star Rally Model Search- On the Convention Center Stage. Premiere Swimwear will present a first class fashion show featuring all of the latest styles Lady Riders like. It’s the perfect place to start your Christmas shopping! You’ll also help choose the model that will represent LSR next year at special events! Look for the show on the Convention Center stage.

The Leather and Lace Ball sponsored by the Galveston Parrot Magazine- To be held upstairs in the Convention Center on Friday night. Since we messed up Halloween for everyone by having to move into town that day, we’ve decided to throw a huge party! Doors open upstairs in the Convention Center at 8pm. There will be great food and beverage plus Vince Vance and the Valiants will perform from 9pm-12mid. We’ll also award $500 to the wearer of the best costume! Admission to the Convention Center is free but a $15 entry will be charged at the door upstairs at the party. Tickets available at the door or by using the on-line order form

TMMA Presents Lone Star Rally Amateur Mixed Martial Arts- The popularity of cage fighting is growing fast. TMMA and LSR present a full card of top Amateur Fighters for your enjoyment. The fights start upstairs in the Convention Center at 8pm. Entrance into the center is free however a small admission will be charged to go upstairs to the fights. Your favorite beverages will be served. Come have a “knocked out” time!

The AMA/ Lone Star Rally Poker Run Registration and final stop- At the AMA Booth, you can register to ride in our free Poker Runs, learn about the benefits of becoming an AMA Member and pick up some free goodies!

The Exotic and Erotic Auto Show- This is just what it sounds like! Every Rally has a bike show! We wanted to be different! This is it! All the cool cars we love! In fact, only two vehicles are valued under $100,000! Come enjoy the latest from Bentley, Lamborghini, Lotus, Rolls Royce, Ford GT-250 plus more fabulous vehicles!

The Lone Star RV and Camping Show- This show is new for 2006! The top RV dealers in Houston are showing off all of the latest and greatest in Toy haulers, 5th wheelers, RV’s and more! If you love to camp or just trailer your bike you’ll find just what you need at this show! You can purchase your new unit while you’re at the show!

The Convention Center Stage sponsored by the Galveston Parrot and Houston Press Magazines- Besides hosting the Fashion and Swimwear Show this stage will be alive with free concerts all week-end. Some of the best bands in the area will rock the house for your enjoyment!
